Lawsuit by Karen Beerer and Extreme Radicals to Suppress Voters

Extremism is ALIVE AND WELL

On May 16, 2023, Primary election day, I was working outside the polls at the Palisades High School in support of candidates who align with our principles and beliefs to represent us as elected government officials. I arrived at the polls around 7:30am. As voters arrived, I asked, “Are you a Democrat or a Republican?” and handed them my appropriate campaign literature. This is not uncommon, voters are typically handed multiple pieces of campaign literature as they approach the polls, including a “sample ballot” from each party. The “sample ballot” is a common piece of campaign literature meant to inform voters which candidates each party supports. My campaign piece was titled, “Bucks County Democrats--Sample Ballot – PRIMARY ELECTION: TUESDAY MAY 16, 2023—Nockamixon Township – Nockamixon Revere”. My sample ballot listed ALL the democrats running for office along with the school board candidate I supported. Campaign literature such as this is considered protected political speech.

Around 7:45am, a group of radical leftist, including Kim Barbaro, Nancy Overton, and Neil T Jesiolowski, came out aggressively harassing me, yelling that I was not allowed to hand out a Democrat sample ballot. The constant harassment and accusations went on the entire morning. As voters approached, Nancy Overton would pounce to tell them that I was a liar, and my Sample Ballot was not “Official.” At one point Kim Barbaro came out to say that she would put a stop to this. Keep in mind, anyone can volunteer to work at the polls to inform voters about their preferred candidates. Apparently, Kim Barbaro complained to the constable about my campaign literature. From what I understand, a copy of my sample ballot was then sent to the Board of Elections which found no issue.

I went to lunch around 12:30pm. Upon my return from lunch, my water bottle and jacket were there with my chair, but my campaign literature was GONE - reportedly taken by the Judge of Elections. I was handed a lawsuit and court injunction - CIVIL ACTION – LAW JURY TRIAL DEMANDED ORDER along with an EMERGENCY PETITION FOR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION. The injunction stated that if I continued to hand out my sample ballots, they could be taken. The lawsuit was filed by the "BUCKS COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE, Karen Beerer (Candidate for School Board Region 2), Pattie Campi (Candidate for Coroner), and Democratic Region 2 School Director Candidates", as a political maneuver to suppress the voters from knowing about all the candidates.

Here is a list of misleading statements presented to the Court of Common Pleas Judge:

1. Karen Beerer and others said my sample ballot was fraudulent campaign literature. (NOT TRUE)

2. Karen Beerer and others said my sample ballot said, “Bucks County Demorats, Sample Ballot.” (NOT TRUE)

3. Karen Beerer and others said “Just Concerned Citizens” sample ballot caused a false and/or misleading sample ballot. See #9 on lawsuit (NOT TRUE)

4. Karen Beerer and others said my sample ballot was being handed out in Falls Township, Lower Makefield Township, Nockamixon Township, Durham Township and Riegelsville Borough. See #10 on lawsuit (NOT TRUE)

5. Karen Beerer and others said my ballot implied it was the official ballot of the Bucks County Democratic Committee. See #11 & #13 (NOT TRUE)

6. Karen Beerer and others said my ballot was on “Golden Rod” colored paper - the paper color of the Democratic party. Note: my sample ballot was on white paper. See #14, #15, #16 & #17 (NOT TRUE 4x)

7. Karen Beerer and others listed on the lawsuit also mislead about #19, #20, #21, #22, #23, #24, #26 on the lawsuit (NOT TRUE 7x)

Kim Barbaro and the others were handing out ballots that said, “Official Democratic Sample Ballot – Springfield Township.” (See attached). Why were they handing out ballots that said, “Springfield Township” at the Nockamixon Township polls? Why were they handing out a ballot that said, “Official Democratic Sample Ballot”, when the only “Official Democrat Sample Ballot” is produced by the Bucks County Board of Elections? (See attached) Who was really handing out fraudulent campaign literature?

The actions of Karen Beerer and others were an attempt to suppress the voters from being informed about ALL candidates running for office on the ballot. Don’t vote for misleading candidate Karen Beerer!!
